What if a hotel was designed around the forest instead of clearing it? 🌿

I discovered @elevegoa in Assagao, Goa, designed by @blurringboundaries.design and the architecture almost disappears into the landscape.

Built around existing trees, steep slopes and laterite rock, parts of the structure are elevated on stilts to preserve the forest floor while opening up incredible views through the canopy. Copper, timber and bamboo are intentionally used to age naturally and become part of the surroundings over time.

This is the kind of architecture I love discovering, where the landscape isn’t an obstacle to design, it becomes the starting point!
