  • Ridhi, How Do I Stop Allergies At Home? ( Part 2)

Allergies to dust and mold can be reduced! Using silica gels sachets, diluted white vinegar and reducing open shelving all help! My previous reel talks about how to use silica gels so check that out.

White vinegar is a natural and effective way in preventing any new mold from growing. The vinegar smell dissipates in minutes but the effect lingers on. Use ½ a cup of white vinegar in 3 litres of water and wipe down all surfaces that are vinegar friendly. I clean most of my house with this solution! Marble and granite are a big NO-NO for vinegar. If your unsure, please google to check if the surface you want to use vinegar friendly.

Also, all open shelving should be reduced. It’s harder to do but try to avoid more open shelving or redo that specific area/wall. The aim to avoid surfaces where dust can come and sit. This can be followed at home and in the office!

I really hope this helps you as it helped me!
