Reimagining Traditional Indian Craft

Yeh hai hamara @swadesh_online and we need to protect our heritage by buying Indian craftsmanship. By reimagining the usage of the craft, Mrs. Nita Ambani and her team have found creative ways of making traditional craft modern again.

I heard about this store when I was invited to attend the inauguration of @jioworldplaza. Mrs. Nita Ambani spoke about her passion project and it resonated with me as I feel contemporising Indian craft is the way forward to preserve, protect and promote our art. I found a way to be a part of @swadesh_online’s inauguration and am so happy to see India being celebrated in India! 😍

I’m tired of other countries celebrating our culture and then selling it back to us. I’m also tired of us constantly looking abroad for inspiration! We have the creativity, craftsmanship and entrepreneurial spirit to be the leaders in design in the world! Let’s stop looking outwards and start celebrating our country’s rich heritage. 👏🙏🤩
