The carpet is manufactured using the best quality natural sisal fiber hand sorted from Madagascar, which is the left over material in plants while making Tequila – making the material sustainable. Previously, @neytt.extraweave has supplied the carpet to the @metgalaofficial_ in 2022, 2023 and now 2025. This Kerala based brand sent 57 rolls of carpet to New York 5 months ago so artists could start hand painting the carpet.
