A table made of break that’s not edible! 😍
At @alcova.milano during Milan Design Week, I found myself at a feast where nothing was quite what it seemed – A table where everything was made of bread. Tables, spoons, surfaces and every detail crafted from something so familiar yet, completely reimagined!
A poem written by the artist from the perspective of rats 🐀
Please take a seat.
“You may notice that you are not dining alone.”
Somewhere between playful and slightly unsettling this one lingered. “Feast for Rats” turned a simple material into a full setting quietly questioning sharing, belonging and who really gets a place at the table.
“The table is shared.”
A comforting thought, until you realise the table itself could disappear bite by bite.
To have it here, is to confront a paradox, design as object, design as consumption with a hint of humour tucked in.
Join us the table is set just maybe don’t get too hungry!😅
