Kitchen Triangle
The golden triangle is the ideal layout in a kitchen. The kitchen sees the highest amount of movement and being efficient is key – making the placement of the stove, sink and fridge very important. The rule states that each side of the triangle should not be less than 4 feet and not more than 9 feet.
The 3 work stations – cooking, storage and washing need a short enough walking distance between them, without any obstacles in the way.
