How did I get to meet @kellyhoppen ? đ
Iâve been in touch with her team since the beginning of the year! We tried to cross paths in Milan and London but it didnât happen. And then suddenly, while I was in Dubai, I received a confirmation that Kelly is free to meet in the morning and within 3 hours I would be meeting her! Oh the joy! â„ïž But I didnât have any questions ready!! So I quickly called a friend for help and wrote down the questions I knew I wanted to ask her on notes on my phone! đ
And when I met her, I told her the same thing đ She was so easy to talk to and genuinely listened when I spoke. She bumped into an old client of hers and I was able to witness how much her clients really adore her first hand!
It was such a pleasure to meet @kellyhoppen and I hope to be seeing more of her soon! â„ïž
About Kelly Hoppen đ
Kelly Hoppen is a legend in the interior design world. She started her career at the age of 16 and 47 years later, she is still taking on projects with the same level of gusto! She has designed the homes, yachts and jets of private clients, as well as commercial projects in several countries, including hotels, restaurants, offices and aircraft.
Hoppen is known for her signature neutral palette and trademark Perfect Neutrals, and is often referred to as the âQueen of Taupeâ.
In 2011, Hoppen presented her own show on Channel 5 called Superior Interiors with Kelly Hoppen. Hoppen was a dragon on BBC Twoâs Dragonsâ Den from 2013 to 2015.
