I walked into the space and my first question was – where are the ceiling lights? This seems to be common concept in France. In historic buildings in Paris, ceilings are often lime-plaster on lath or stone slabs with ornamental mouldings, so drilling can compromise structural integrity, cause cracking, or damage protected heritage elements. ♥️
About the Project 👇
The entrance sets the tone with a sculptural marble console, soft lighting and an architectural artwork that frames the space.
In the living and dining areas, solid wood, rich textiles and collectible furniture bring warmth and depth, while artworks, vintage pieces and sculptural lighting add character.
A darker drawing room introduces a more intimate mood, layered with art and sculptural furniture that gives it a gallery-like presence.
