Firstly, Happy Birthday @align.mr.glass Ali! This video is a birthday surprise for him! I wasn’t planning on shooting this video but then I saw the candy coloured glass bricks and decided to do it. The owner of @align.mr.glass told me today is his birthday, so we decided to release it today! Surprise! 🤗

Secondly, glass bricks have been around for eons so I don’t need to say much. We have all seen them around. But this is what I realised –
It’s a hard trend… one that isn’t going to go away for a long time. Sometimes glass bricks can look cheap but, if used correctly, the coloured bricks can create a nice shadow effect on its surroundings.
My advise would be to play with light and colour for these materials.
Hollow bricks create partitions while keeping the space light.
