Ridhi, Do You Buy Traditional Indian Art?
India has about 3000 traditional crafts and about 300-400 are various types of art. Of that, only 20-30% are being passed down to the next generation. As a country, we have strength in numbers and yet we are unable to preserve our crafts? I don’t believe it. I think Indians are proud of our culture & heritage and would happily buy Indian products.
The problem is awareness and accessibility. Where do you buy Indian art from? We need someone to organise the industry. So I was THRILLED to learn about MeMeraki’s website. @me_meraki
Started by Yosha, an Indian techie from Australia, built a website that even has AI capabilities. It’s SO easy – the website let’s you see what the art looks like in your house within seconds! Perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, kid’s rooms, conference rooms, offices, hotels, restaurants etc.
I love walking into homes, offices and other spaces that only have Indian art (and most of their interior materials are made in India!) We are so skilled, talented and aesthetically gifted that anything made in India is going to shine through!
Visit www.MeMeraki.com to see more than 10,000 pieces of Indian art!
