When I reached 600k followers, I announced that I would be showing you 6 young Indian brands doing incredible work in the world of design. I’ve travelled all over India to find these emerging designers and am excited to share them with you! Let’s start!

Episode 1:
I knew I had to start the series with Mallika from @leidenschaft_studio .
The shoot had a magical energy that I hope the camera was able to harness. We had a lot of fun around her studio in Delhi! I absolutely love how she uses concrete – a material that people perceive as hard, rough and difficult to work with – into fluid, serene, wabi sabi style furniture and art pieces, giving it a ‘light’ feeling. I would call her an artist, rather than a designer ♥️

Each creation is a journey of introspection, inviting diverse interpretations and personal reflections. MALLEKA’s pieces are more than functional objects; they are living art, dynamic and expressive, weaving stories of transformation and artistic vision into every space they inhabit.
